I am an avowed fan of Salewa and rarely try other hiking footwear. I am really happy that I did try these Asolo TPS 535 Boots. Great fit, real support and comfortable right out of the box. Can't ask for more!

Great "Classic" Leather Boot

So I have had these boots for over ten years and worn them on numerous backpacking trips, also snowshoeing and climbing with crampons. They are a heavier boot, more traditional, and I love that they are not GorTex, as such they are not overly warm or sweaty, they breathe. I have snow sealed the upper and they are waterproof, great in snow. I think this boot excels if you are carrying a heavy backpack, plenty of foot support. I have moved to lighter footwear for most of my outdoor experiences but when I need foot support or need to strap on crampons these 535s are my pick. By the way after ten years it looks like I have another ten years in 'em!

Runs Large! WARNING

Perfect boot, love them but they run large, almost 1 full size but .5 size for sure. I normally wear a 10 but a 10 in these is enough room to wear 6 pair of socks and easily a fulll size bigger than normal. The frustrating part of these boots is that they still run big a half size smaller but 1 full size smaller is too small.
