Not great value for money
Very thin material. Doesn’t seem worth the money. Was expecting a lot more fir the price.

Great Jacket For Everything
Light enough for most activities, long enough in the right areas for riding a bike

I needed a new rain jacket so I purchased two different brands to see which one I liked better and this one fit the bill. The hood fits great (there are two adjustable ties on the sides of the hood and the front visor part of the hood is a great size so you don't get rain all over your face), the length of the jacket is perfect (a little longer in the back), the pockets are deep enough and are made of mesh on the inside (I'm guessing this is to use as a vent since there aren't any pit zips), and the size in general is true to size with enough room to layer. I am 5'4" 127lbs athletic build. The reason I am giving it 4 starts is because of the missing pit zips and there isn't a hook tag on the inside to hang it up (which the other brand I tried on did have), but the other features outweighed those two things. I haven't worn it in the rain yet so we'll have to see on the waterproofing. I got the Dark Caspian color and it is beautiful!

Leaked after one season of use
Got this for my SO and initially she loved it. But after a year of very light use it leaks in several places. She's gone back to using her very old previous jacket that looks worn but still does not leak. This one looks brand new, but does leak. It was kept inside a climate controlled house its entire life too, hanging in a closet.

Holds up
Took this out into the sierras through some summer thunderstorms and it did fantastic. Love that it's light weight and I can cram in my bag. It was breathable but also durable.. I would prefer venting in the arm pits as an option as summer rains get hot but overall a standup item that's been good to me. I also have a size M which is a bit bigger in case I need to put it over my puff/many layers

Love this jacket!
I have a size L and typically wear a L in Mountain Hardwear. I have the pants too and both are great for the rainy PNW climate in which I live. I paired this jacket with puffy vests this winter for layering. My husband has the Men's version of this jacket and also loves it.

Ordered this to replace a lost coat and so appreciated how quickly BC got it here. I ordered it in a lovely brick color. Despite some concerns others stated with sizing, this one fit brilliantly -- plenty of shoulder room and sleeves that are long enough. But I ended up returning it for several reasons. The listing for the brick colored version stated the coat had pit zips and chest pockets, which it does not. More problematic was the zipper. I suspect Mountain Hardwear put in the thinner zipper so that the placket (great wind/rain protection) would lay flat. But, I could not imagine the zipper holding up well over extended use. Additionally, the tape used to seal the seams was narrower than similar products, raising concerns about water repellance and durability. There are lots of other options -- not sure this is anyone's best choice.
