This backpack is in low stock or no stock as of 5/7/2024 for a reason. It's not too big for everyday carry (laptop + engineer stuff), if needed, the molle system allows for more carrying capacity and versatility. as a weekend backpack this pack will hold 2-3 days of gear. excellent hiking pack (if you do a 2-4 hour hike its too big, but for longer multi-day hikes this is the one). I ride a motorcycle to work so this pack is a great option for the task (it can hold the helmet also). I also fly once a month and having this as my carry on plus a waist bag makes the trip very easy; sometimes it's the only bag I take with me. If you can get this pack at a discount it's worth it.

The perfect overnight bag
I use this bag both as a quick grab and go over night travel bag, and as my day pack as the “family mule” for a family of four. The pockets and access are perfect (not too few, nor too many), two big pouches for water bottles, and the most comfortable shoulder straps I’ve found. I’ve been through an easy 5-10 packs over the year before finding this one; it’s the best I’ve found to date.

Great everyday/short travel bag
After a month of testing and daily use, I feel comfortable with the bag and its features. At first, it seemed like a lot but I have grown accustomed to its many interior pockets faster than I expected. I love the molle design, laptop zipper, lid pockets, and interior zippered pockets. However, the only downside I have is the quick-attach zoid bag does not line up with the interior loops.

Perfect example of a well thought out design!
Researched a ton of different bags in this size range and loved the design, features and looks of this Mystery Ranch 2day assault pack. The quick open access is a must have when time is of the essence. Has several different pockets and pouches in various sizes to properly organize your gear. It’s a great choice for someone looking for a quality item.

Nice bag
Nice bag, same size as my two Maxpedition packs. I got the Mystery Ranch thinking it was bigger, but it wasn’t. I should have gotten the 3 day.

2 Day Pack Awesome for Every Day Use and Military
Such a great pack! More than happy to have it and use it both as a daily bag and field use. I plan on buying another color to have as a back up!

The Go Anywhere, Do Anything Bag
I have two of the now discontinued Urban Assault 21 packs but I've started to need a bit more space and organization. The 2 Day Assault has been the answer. The extra 6 L of capacity goes a long way. I've made extensive use of the Molle webbing to add pouches to add additional space/organization, and make the pack uniquely my own. The addition of the framed support is definitely a nice to have and makes the bag wear more like a ruck. Title says it all, it's been the perfect go anywhere, do anything bag.

There is a tab to hang a water hydration bladder from on the inside. However is there a hole in the top to pass the water hydration bladder tube through?

How much weight can this bag hold before the straps start to rip. I would use this for Rucking exercises, I’d probably put 80lbs max in there. Would this bag begin to fail if i put that much weight in it

my 2d has a metal ring open grommet at the bottom. is this by design? should i worry about resting the bag on wet/dirty places? the hole opening is behind the mole strap, not sure this design is pretty robust enough, or i should try close it up.
