Why We Like The NEMO Hornet OSMO Tent
The NEMO Hornet OSMO Tent makes getting cozy in the backcountry an easy feat, thanks to its Divvy Cube stuff sack and its ability to be dispersed between us and our partners. Off the trail, NEMO's new OSMO fabric provides insane weather protection, all without the use of PFCs or PFASs. It's crafted with GRS-certified recycled polyester-nylon blend that keeps moisture at bay and resists stretching and drooping in wet conditions. The no-see-um mesh on the sides is white to boost privacy, while the black mesh top makes stargazing easy.

Nemo Hornet 1P is AWESOME!!!
My Nemo Hornet 1P tent is a great tent for backpacking. I am 5'10" tall it has plenty of length to fit me without touching either end. I have had it in some very heavy rain and everything stayed dry. I am not one to spend a lot of time in my tent except for sleeping and when the weather requires so the 1-person version work well for me. I would say if you are going to spend a bit more time in the tent get the Nemo Hornet 2P. Keep you the good work Nemo!

An almost perfect tent
This is such a simplistic tent and everything has thought put into it. The footprint doesn’t weight much more than a piece of Tyvek and it clips into the corners for seamless integration. The strings to attach the side of the tent to the fly to pull out the sides a bit more is genius too. The bivy sack is my favorite! It packs down so small when the poles are removed. I have two things I would change though. The bivy sack has a tag that shows how small it can get when the poles are taken out. I find this to be at least two inches lower than what it realistically is at. The other is that the head space is very narrow! While the strings that attach to the fly do help with the interior space, it is still very small. I am 6’3 and I do have the 2P, but for one person it is perfect!

Great tent, great features.
Bought this a little while ago to backpack with my son. We both are smaller in stature and while a tight fit the tent works great. Extremely light and packs down great. Good quality all the way around and have made it through rain and wind. Only issues were the rain fly doesn’t cover 100% and so you what to be precise on set-up. Also didn’t like how the access door flaps would drip inside when you opened after or during a storm.

Great tent
This tent is lightweight but sturdy. Seems like the waterproof will hold up for a while. Look forward to many adventures with this tent!

Lightweight but durable tent
I bought my first NEMO hornet in 2020 and it lasted me more that lasted 1,000 miles worth of thru-hikes plus numerous weekend adventures. It was still in pristine condition when it was lost by an airline. So I went back for the same tent. This is a light, warm, sturdy tent that is the perfect size for me and my husky. I even took it snow camping the other weekend and it kept me warm and dry.

very light and roomy
I have the three person version of this tent and have used it for about a dozen nights or so. For the wife and I, this tent has ample space for two 25" pads side by side and plenty of extra room for bags (if you don't want to leave it in the vestibule). We split the tent (body and poles, rainfly and stakes) between our two packs and it is very light--lighter than a comparable quality 1-person tent, The set up is easy and the tent is very high quality. My only gripe with the tent is the size of the footprint when fully staked out. It goes quite wide which may limit the areas where you could set up the tent, As such, we've reserved this tent for campgrounds and trails we are more familiar with. I would highly recommend this tent as one of the lightest and best build tents of this size that I've tested.

Awesome tent!
I bought this tent to do backpacking. It’s been on a few trips with me and I am so glad I invested the money into it! It was worth every penny and I love how simple it is to set up.

Love this tent!
We bought the 3 person option with the intention of having room for 2 people + 2 dogs. The space worked great! I love how easy it was to set up, and the quality of material used. We had very strong winds roll through the canyon and the tent held up great! I love the notches on the stakes. We’re buying an additional set for our other tent.

I'm really happy
After years of using a 2-person tent with my wife, we decided to upgrade to a 3-person. While there's a little weight penalty, we're really happy with the extra room. The materials and construction are really great. The set-up instructions could be a wee bit clearer but so long as you set up the tent once before going, you'll be fine. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend.

The little details make this tent the best
On some levels at this price point, you can fall into "a tent is a tent" thinking. But Nemo put so much thought into the little details of this tent. I have used a Big Agnes Copper Spur for years and loved it, but my first night in my friend's Hornet sold me. The venting was much better than my Copper Spur, which made sleeping through a hot Kentucky summer night much more comfortable. The tie ups for the doors and vestibule are placed perfectly so they don't droop weird or keep unrolling whenever the wind would blow. And lastly, the Nightlight Pockets freaking blew my mind. Seriously, if you're looking for a tent that is well designed as well as well made--I can't recommend the Hornet enough.
