Awesome BUT Transitions take a while

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

There is another review titled “perfect touring boot” that I agree with 100% (including the observation about the power strap being kind of weird.) However, something nobody talks about w these boots is that each boots has 6 potential points of adjustment when it comes to transition. That’s a total of 12 potential steps and almost everyone I ski with likes to rib the guy who is last to transition. So while they are messing w one or two points of adjustment I’m dealing w 12 and the time difference is real!

Perfect Touring Boot

These are ski touring machines disguised as downhill boots. They walk just as well as they ski, and they honestly do ski like downhill boots. I struggled with getting a different pair of well-reputed touring boots to fit all season long and was about to throw in the towel until I came across the Zero G Tour Scout. Can honestly say they have saved my season and allowed me to complete my dream trip (Bugs to Rogers Traverse). The liners are somewhat thin but surprisingly really warm and comfortable. Superb out-of-the-box fit - did not heat mold the liners or do any work on the shells, and skied some pretty big days at the end of this season with no blisters. Lighter weight and better range of motion than some other leading touring boots this season too. The only "flaw" I've been able to find is that the power strap doesn't stay in place when it is somewhat loosened, i.e. when in walk mode.
