Dreams come true.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the shoe I was dreaming about from TNF. Needed something soft and cushy for recovery runs and long runs on harder surfaces, this shoe is that and more. Great for road and non-technical trail. The fit is perfect with wide toe box allowing toes to splay and stability with higher stack height from added cushion. The tongue is also well designed and laces feel good. Pumped on having this shoe in the quiver and not having to go to another brand for a shoe that fits this purpose. Thanks for listening to your athletes!

Lil' Big here buddy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love north face trail runners. I've run multiple ultra's in them, but they were the Vectiv Enduris II. Those fit perfectly. These guys run easily a half size big. They are also very cushioned to the point where I'm not sold on their stability. But they feel great to walk in!

Downhill cruisers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just over 100 miles in these and I am really liking them. I've tested them on all sorts of terrain and they are great on everything but side hilling/rocky technical terrain. They excel on smooth downhills, the rocker and the dream foam makes the downs fast and effortless. They are good on other terrain. I used them for a Rim to Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon and they were fantastic. Tested their drainage on a stream crossing and have no complaints. The only slight complaint is traction could be better with the 4mm lugs. I like the fit! It did take ten miles for the liners to break in a smidge, initially it felt like my foot set too high, but after the first couple run it resolved. The toe box is great, not a Topo or Altra but very good and I didn't have to size up a 1/2 as I do in many other brands. Downsides for me are it's weight and the stack height makes it not a great shoe for really technical trails or off trail adventures. Otherwise I'm super pleased and would recommend.

Alta Mesa 500 ! Sweet !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long time Ultra Trail Runner. After 12 pairs of " HOKA Speedgoat " I am trying out the Alta Mesa 500. Good fit , good toe box room, stable shoe and fit. Very promising ! The midosle is a little firm - could be a softer durometer. So far so good !

Great trail runner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these so far, and they have been great on the technical runs I do, even with the high stack. My only con for these is I need to re-tie them halfway through a run.

Super comfy and great traction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exceptional support and cushion, however, the sizing is slightly large or more loose than some of my other north face shoes. I need to wear thicker socks to create a better experience. Awesome shoes and great traction as well.

Great Design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great design. This shoe is exactly what I was looking for. I run 16-20 mile trail runs and need a trail shoe with more cushion on my recovery runs.

Buy them. The best tnf shoes I've ever bought
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these daily at work. Concrete floors and 10 hour days coupled with bone spurs make for a tough time. These shoes are the best shoes I have ever owned.
