Another comfortable Altra shoe

Typically I buy Altra with much less cushion for the wide toe box, zero drop, and feel. This shoe has nice cushion and use it for harder surfaces. Comfortable and so far good quality.

Super Comfortable!

I purchased the men's Paradigm 6 since the women's 6 was no longer available in my size. For me there was virtually no difference in fit and comfort. Super comfort! Love the max cushioning and roomy toe box! More comfortable than the Paradigm 7.

Good shoes but don't last

Great shoes. I use them for work at the hospital. I might have to buy another pair due to mine squeaking with every step. It's continuing to get worse and it drives me nuts. Got them about 5 months ago.....

No accountability for their product's quality

I'm a long time customer of Altra brand and I'm mostly satisfied with the quality of the shoes. As you can see from the photo of me wearing my Altra's I had a total knee replacement therefor I do no do any kind of sports at all. I wear Altra brand only because they feel very comfortable and ease my pain when walking. I have reached out to Altra and requested to get a new pair of Paradigm 6, I assumed that the warranty will cover it since those shoes are made for runners and I can barely walk. Surprisingly I was wrong, according to Altra it is my fault for the wear damage, I guess the at my age I still haven't mastered the art of properly wearing running shoes ... So just an FYI, if you are a runner considering to purchase Paradigm shoes, do not be surprised if those shoe give up easily, after all it gave up for a disabled person that can barely walk

Shoes are fine, laces are not

The shoes are good though I have limited mileage on them. My concern is that the laces are too short so I'm not able to lace them to the top eyelet. The result I can get them as snug as I'd like.

Do not buy.

Different sole rubber than 5s. It's cheap foam with no bounce. Horrible for pavement. Got injured.

Quite comfy

This is my second pair of paradigms. They look funny but are very comfortable. The cushioning is great for walking/running. The wide toe box keeps my toes from squishing together even later in the day.

Great Walkers

Got these for walking. Very comfortable and nice toe box. Memory foam lining is very nice.

I found an even better model!

I have very flat feet. When I discovered the Altra brand with the old Earth Shoe type toe box shape, I was intrigued, and then sold. My first four pair were Torin Plush, and they were so comfortable. Then, while on sale, I saw the Paradigm and bought a pair. Even better! More cushion and stability, and so comfortable. And I like the new type of laces they use. They don't come undone and I don't have to double tie them. I'm older now and walk more than I jog, but I'm sold on the Paradigm model.

Walking shoe

Cushion just wasn't soft enough for 40 year old knees. Nice enough for walking.
