I love this shoe and am about to order a second pair.
This is my go to shoe for gym workout and daily comfort. the fabric upper gives gentle support to the ball of my foot.

Not impressed
My husband ordered these for me after I had been battling a bad flare up of plantar fasciitis. I've only worn them maybe 5 times because they make my foot hurt worse and even bought plantar fasciitis inserts for them to see if that would help any. I'm just really disappointed because they are pretty pricey only to not be able to wear them. This was my first time every buying this brand and I'll probably not buy again. Returned to my go-to Brooks.

Like a recovery shoe for me
Thank you for keeping this in the lineup for us to choose from. I don't mainly use this for running but rather as a shoe for work (minimal to moderate walking). Found out that when I wear these, it makes my legs feel better like I'm recovering well from my intense runs. I use Paradigm 7 for my runs.

Comfy but bottom layer peels off
I wear these for work. They are very comfortable. However, the bottom layer of the sole started peeling off after a few weeks. Would not buy again. Also wish they came in better colors.

Great shoes with one obvious flaw..
Torin's are my favorite Altra's. I've had 3 pairs of these & the bottom piece of sole on these comes detached within 10 wears. It's no secret that the Altra quality has suffered recently but CS helps.

Terrible
I got these in May and already the bottom is peeling apart from multiple area. For the price I am extremely disappointed.

Absolutely NOT
Have had my Torin's for under 1 year. I am a walker; 2 miles every few days and wear to work. I have had continuous problems with the soles coming off. They make a farting noise when I walk. There are numerous tears in the sides and holes in the back, behind the ankles. I have not had these expensive shoes for a year yet... VERY Disappointed

Returned product after soles peeled off
I've been an Altra fan since 2017. They solved a lot of my foot problems including Morton's Neuroma and Achilles tendinitis. Loved these particular shoes right out of the box. They felt like slippers. I chose to take them on an international vacation and after the second wearing, the soles started to peel away. I had to spend the next day in a foreign city searching for superglue to fix them well enough to use for island hiking. I would not buy again. The shoes have been sent back and I am still waiting to hear about my refund as I do not want a replacement.

Wonderful Road Shoe for Everyday Runs
I was excited to buy an Altra road shoe as their trail shoes are amazing. The Torin is lite enough for everyday runs. The wide toe box is why I continually return to buying Altra shoes. My one disappointment is that the tongue does not stay in place, and I find myself having to stop and continually adjust it during runs.
