Best barefooters out there
These are the best barefoot shoes on the market. I tried multiple much bigger/more expensive brands and ended up returning them. I am a full time fishing guide and when it’s too cold to be barefoot or my feet have gotten too much sun, these are the only shoes I wear on the boat and around town for that matter.

Back for more!
These are my go to shoes for water fun that's not full on whitewater: SUP, canoe camping, wading in the creek or river with my grandsons. Super comfortable and sticky soles. I'm on my second pair.

You need these if your a Fairweather boater
Not as durable as the OG material but will always own a pair of these. Drains and drys fast. Great connection to the ground. Sticks to wet rocks like a gecko. Packs into any bag. Best if used barefoot.

Fall apart
While these shoes are comfortable they’re fragile. Mine are already falling apart. Not meant for a daily wear.

Beware
The inside of the shoe is poorly built and as a result it irritates and scratches your feet during use. They are better with socks on, but that defeats the purpose of water shoes. Really bad design and manufacture.

I Really Wanted to Like These
I came from OluKai Nohea Mokus, and absolutely loved those shoes. These seemed somewhat comporable in store. However, once getting them home and trying them without socks, there is rough seams/stitching that goes across the top of the foot that really irritates my feet in no time. That is a huge R&D oversight for a water shoe. This was my first, and last pair of Astrals.
