I was a little disappointed in this jacket. It is much lighter than I anticipated and lacks some basics, like an inside pocket and closures on the hand pockets. In the age of cell phones, an inside pocket is a must and absent that I'd like to be sure whatever I'm storing doesn't fall out of the hand pocket. The jacket is nice looking and the fit is good, but it feels cheaper than I expected. If I had paid full price I'd be looking for a refund. That said, it will be a good addition for spring and early fall.

Slim profile fit but still a little roomy, not tight. I wear usually M in tshirts and the S in this jacket fits awesome. It has a nice fit both zipped and unzipped.

Terrible sizing

I was pretty excited for this based off the stock photos and the sizing chart but wow, when I got the green jacket, the arm length was an ok length but the sides were insanely wide! I got a small and sure, I'm an athletic slim build but there was atleast a good 3-4 spare inches on each side of the jacket. I had bought a backcounty insulated sweatshirt as well and sure enough, the same issue. I think backcountry gear just runs wide.

Technical materials in a casual shacket

Intended use: Casual wear in moderate to cool temps Normally wear a large and this fit as expected. The tail comes down past the bum a little and sleeves end just below the wrist from my slightly longer than average arms. So if you are not super yoked or have a big paunch the fit is spot on. Pros: Love the subtle styling of a barn coat made with materials normally found in winter sport jackets. The outer shell feels tough and stretchy. overall construction gives me confidence that it will last. Cons: To make this a perfect hybrid jacket, I would add zippers to the hand pockets, and an interior zippered pocket. The waist is cut just a bit generously compared to the upper body but it's a small thing. Overall though a great jacket for casual wear and outdoor activities in cool weather. It's much lighter and slimmer than a cotton duck barn coat and easier to fit in a washing machine.

Great stylish alternative to the typical Fall puffy. Just enough insulation to serve as an extra layer as the cooler temps roll in. The DWR finish has come in handy a few times already especially against the morning coffee spills. I'm usually right between a medium and large and medium fits me perfectly in this instance. Overall very please with my purchase.
