Perfect for camping, bush, or beach days.

Excellent. Took it camping and it was amazing. Paired this with 1 solar panel 100 and never dropped below 80% battery. Even with using air pumps for beach days. May buy the larger one for more off grid camping

Biolite for the win!

It works well and I get more run time than i thought I would. It is a great size and fits well in my boat or in my van...

So far so good

With the winter storms here in CA this year I purchased the BaseCharge 600 to give us power security for home use. Of course the storms immediately stopped but I have tested it and can recommend. The form factor is great; we didn’t want a huge device and this is perfect for our needs. It has plugs and outlets for all our devices and the phone charging on the top surface is a great plus. As advertised the display information is very intuitive and helpful. I’m a neophyte with these devices and can easily tell the status of this device. Am almost looking forward to more storms to test this out. Almost

Neapresso machine, CPAP

I purchased the BaseCharge 600 and just plugged in a Nespresso Essenza machine and a Aerocino. Surge wattage of Essenza showed 960w and the Aerocino was a little less. I ran the 2 machines one after the other. No noticeable battery consumption making 2 cappuccinos. Also ran Resmed CPAP with heated humidifier on for 8 hr therapy and it showed 13 hr left. It would be considerably less consumption if I turned humidifier off. It charged my phone wireless nicely. I plan to use this as an auxiliary battery in my RV which has a generator and lead acid house batteries. I had difficulty with CPAP running all night on the lead acid house batteries and could not get Nespresso with 1000w inverter to work without running noisy generator. This will be an easy upgrade without the expense of upgrading batteries to Li . Excellent power station and very happy with this purchase.

Worth the money

So far I’ve used it three times, once for hunting/camping to charge my radios, phone, gps, etc and it seemed to handle very well. The next time I used it was to run a small space heater in my garage while I cleaned up and organized my garage. The eta to empty when the space heater was on kept saying 2.5hrs but I must have used it for at least an hour without that eta changing. The most recent time I used it was out of necessity. Power was out in my office and although I could have just gone home I thought, what a great opportunity! The base charge 600 powered the router, the switch and my computer for a solid 10 hours. Very cool, very useful!

Good times with the base charge 600!

Amazing product. Within the first month of purchase the base charge was very useful on a week long camp trip in keeping all lights and devices fully charged. Also came in handy when the power went out overnight due to a surprise snow storm! Did experience major delays and issues when it came to shipping me the product. Issues that stretched over six weeks to resolve. Major flaw in keeping things organized and with communication.

Ready for winter!

I've debated getting a generator for backup for years incase there's a winter outage, but now I've got the BaseCharge, I can say that I'm feeling more ready to face an outage without fear of having no power for hours on end.

So far so good

I haven’t used it in the field yet but the display and charging are easy. Looking forward to getting my solar 100 and seeing how fast they charge.

Perfect for off-grid living

We have a remote off-grid cabin in the Adirondcks and had been using a Charge 40 PD to keep phones, BioLite USB lanterns and BioLite HeadLamps charged. We do have a generator, but wanted to have something where we didn't need to run it just to charge smaller items. The BaseCharge 600 is perfect. We can set up the items needing a recharge during the day and go about our chores or hike and everything is charged up when we return as well as using it for smaller electric convenience items. Reduced the use of the generator and can use the Charge 40 for carrying in the backpack as an emergency charge. We've had the unit for about two weeks and everything charges quickly, the panel is great, showing how much battery is left and very easy to use. We are looking forward to taking the BaseCharge on road trips. We don't have the solar panel yet (coming in November) and when we have that, it will be all that much better. One thing we would like to see available is a waterproof carrying bag. Getting to the cabin in the rain or upcoming snow season means having to concoct something. We are currently using a sleeping bag stuff sack, but wish there was something designed specifically for the BaseCharge.
