Works well!
I wanted a monopod but love my BD poles. Then I realized I could add this accessory and turn one into a monopod. I tried it out and all went well!

Hunting Binocular Solution
I was looking for a solution for using my Vortex Optic Binoculars and was looking for a Monopod. But when out hunting you try to reduce the amount of items you carry. And when you have perfectly good Black Diamond Trekking poles in your hands, what perfect solution, using one of your poles as your Binocular glassing pole. The Black Diamond Universal Adapter works perfectly with the Vortex Pro Binocular Tripod Adapter. Thank you Black Diamond for another quality product.

Overall, I think this is a great product if you have the right ski/ overall, I think this is a great product if you have the right ski/ trekking poles. trekking poles the shaft, or the mount fits flush in the top of the handle on the poles. it would be nice if black diamond posted some pictures of an actual camera or set up an oculus on the mount for reference overall, I think this is a great product and I’m very happy with my purchase.

Just buy it.
The pictures of this unit were a tad misleading to me as I was concerned about the size and it just being a clumsy thing sticking out of the pole. Couldn't have been more wrong! It's incredibly small and discreet! Incredibly happy with this piece. I've used it with both a camera and paired with a binocular mount. The heavy tripod stays home now.

Works
Does what it’s intended to do. I couple it with a binocular attachment for greater stability when glassing

Save the camera tripod for home
I got one of these to save weight on a tripod setup with my GoPro and it’s been a sweet add on. It’s nice being able to use my trekking pole in multiple roles-I also picked up the whippet attachment. I count everything that goes into my pack, and it can be hard to justify weight for certain things. When I was looking to upgrade my trekking poles, seeing the attachments available made sense. I’m saving some weight without sacrificing the ability to film.

Works as expected
As the title says, but know that you should screw your camera on the adapter first, then on the pole.

Good option to minimize extra
Good option to minimize extra gear if trying to keep every ounce down. Not as stable as tripod, but a good option to cut weight or on the final push of a stalk for hunting.
