Superb Comfort - Sub Par Fit
Overall: I think these are the most comfortable crack climbing shoe I have ever worn. However, it is one of the worst fitting shoes despite a well fitting shoe. The poor fit leads to a subpar performance while edging or smearing. The shoe tends to bunch and crease when bent at the toes in all the wrong places which leaves you feeling as if the shoe is too big or roomy in the toe box. This was most noticed when face climbing but did not really affect the jamming performance. Everyone's foot is different but best to try these on in person before ordering as these were sized up 1 full size from my typical climbing shoe size.

Better than TC Pro!
I have had these for several months after using TC Pros for several years. I wear a size 13, which makes the TC Pros very snug in their equivalent size 46. My only issue is was the vertical toe volume (not width). I was able to expand that area of the shoe with a stretcher. These have become my go to shoe.

Sooo Sick
Finally! A rival to the TC pro!! Great for all day trad missions and just as easy to slip on at the gym. And they look cool too..

BD did it!
For years I have sworn by la Sportiva, never wanted to really touch any other shoe brand, Bd has always made great hardware but I must admit their shoes where behind the times, step in the aspect pro and they are now my favorite footwear for multipitch or trad in general, well done bd keep up the game!

Techy
Lots of thought and technology clearly went into the design to create a comfortable high top trad shoe.

Legit!
Wasn't sure about these at first but took the leap anyways! Pleasantly surprised by the quick break in comfortability, stiffness for aggressive foot placement as well as the rubber. Was unsure as theyre not the Vibram rubber we all know and trust. One unexpected love is the laces! So easy to loosen and tighten. Very unique. no regrets! Great shoes. Looking forward to many many adventures.

Quiver killer.
Finally. For so long I wanted to replace my TC pros and the other "trad shoes" that companies keep putting out that aren't trad shoes at all. They're made of paper and don't do the job. TC Pro and XS Edge rubber have always been awful for me. They fail utterly if conditions aren't good. Along came the Aspect Pro. Rarely can I say a shoe is both more comfortable and more effective in every type of climbing, including even toe and heel hooking (which this shoe was clearly not designed for) than almost anything else I wear. I have 15 some odd pairs of different climbing shoes and I just end up wearing these. The places I climb are not kind to shoes or gear. I've had my pair since they first came out. Getting a second pair a tiny bit larger to get my toes to lay a tiny bit more flat.

Not quite there yet…
This is a good first attempt at a technical all around shoe that can compete with the TC Pro but there is still room for improvement in my opinion. Overall, this is a very well made shoe and I’m sure many people will enjoy using it. For me, the shoe does not fit quite right and feels less precise than I would like. The shoe is somewhat flat-soled compared to the TC and this results in a less technical experience when I’m climbing. For me, the shoe feels roomy in all the wrong places despite being the right size. Also, the lacing system need to go…I would recommend a traditional eyelet system over the “loop” system. I am never able to get the right degree of tightness when I’m lacing up. However, I really do like the ribbed shoelace design! It really holds well and doesn’t require a double knot like my other shoes. I wear a 43 in TC Pros but had to go with a 44.5 due to the sizing discrepancy between manufacturers. Everyone will have a different experience with these shoes than me and I don’t regret trying them. However, I won’t continue to climb in them once my TC’s are resoled.

Comfortable, solid, reliable, high value
I've been using these shoes now for a couple of weeks, both for top rope and bouldering. So far they have been pretty solid, with the shoe strings helping me fit the shoe tightly around my wide feet, without hurting. They feel like good quality shoes!
