Silly fun on deep days.

Bringing together the best characteristics of irreverent style and serious freeride performance, the Burton X Mad Mag Alfred E. Neuman Deep Thinker Snowboard takes the floaty directional shape of Danny's Deep Thinker Snowboard, then decks it out with special graphics showcasing Mad Mag's flippant Alfred E. Neuman character. It retains the high-end construction of Danny's Deep Thinker, including Burton's Super Fly II core for lively feel underfoot, as well as 45° Carbon Highlights for energetic response and snap.

Designed for the steep and deep of your local mountain, the Deep Thinker Snowboard loves nothing more than slashing fresh pow in the trees, before transitioning to wide open bowls and steep chutes up top. Its tapered directional shape carves energetically and floats near-effortlessly after massive storms leave your mountain buried in powder. It uses a slight tail cut-out that helps to drop the rear into the snow, so you're not struggling to keep the nose swimming above the snow.

Delving into its profile, you'll find what Burton calls Directional Camber, which is eager to lay an edge down when you're carving, yet floats fantastically in fresh snow. This profile places traditional camber directly underfoot, so you can reap the benefits of its spring-loaded snap and responsive carving capabilities. Just after the front Channel inserts, the board rises with a subtle rocker that keeps the nose from plowing through deep powder, so you're not helplessly bogged down in fresh snow.
