Why We Like The Columbia Newton Ridge Plus II Suede WP Hiking Boot
Hiking boots can be heavy and bulky but not the Columbia Newton Ridge Plus II Suede WP Hiking Boot. Starting at only two pounds per pair, this boot doesn't weigh us down yet still protects our feet with its burly upper and its waterproof Omni-Tech bootie that keeps out water, snow, and muck. The light EVA foam cushions our feet, while Columbia's Omni-Grip rubber outsoles give us good outdoor traction that won't mark up our floors when we wear them indoors.

Awesome boots

Excellent daily shoe

Excellent updates!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My second pair and the updates do not disappoint! My first pair lasted me roughly 8 years. I was impressed enough by Columbia boots I went with a pair of Fairbanks that did a great job but didn’t not age as nicely. So this time I went back to the Newtons. Upgraded in every way in terms of step in comfort, all day comfort, traction, and waterproofing! My only complaint is that the brown I received does not look as dark as online.

Not so great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my boyfriend about 3 months ago. He needed boots (for differently types of weather for his job). He delivers for Fed Ex. The boots are falling apart. We haven’t had horribly bad weather. He only wears them for work. It’s a little disappointing. He needed a decent pair of boots, typically Columbia comes through, but not with these boots.

Very comfortable and great for hiking.
