Passed the Test!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of Columbia hiking shoes and I can't say enough good things about them. First of all is the comfort. I didn't have a lot of time to break them in before heading to the hills, but I must admit I had no issues at all. So comfortable and no blisters! After climbing the falls in Thailand and trekking through the jungle chasing elephants I must admit they passed the test. While other members of my team had issues with traction on the slippery leaf covered slopes I was sure footed and comfortable. Not only do they perform well they also look good and provide just the right ankle support. Great investment!

It's very comfortable and also made of quality material

Fun color, supportive, a bit firm

Having bought several Columbia shoes/boots, I knew these would fit as expected, and they do. The pale lavender color is just fun--and frankly, the top reason I bought these. While I haven't walked any real distance, I can tell they'll be supportive. They could do with more cushioning, which I'll take care of with a different insole.

Ankle cuff is stiff and digs into skin

They are cute, and the toe box is very comfortable. But around my ankles, the cuff digs in hard. No matter what tall socks I wear, this will not work. Returning.

These boots are a size too big than normal

When I buy Columbia boots, I always order half size bigger to allow room for thicker socks. The fit is always perfect. The sizing of these boots is way off, a size 6.5 fits more like 7.5. I was going to return and get them in my normal size until I read in the Q&A section that Eco Friendly leather is not vegan leather. I wish they had included in the product description what Eco Friendly leather is. The boots are cute and quite comfortable but way too big. I didn't reorder because it is not vegan leather.

I needed some hiking shoes ASAP! and I kept looking at a ton of videos on tik Tok and I saw this girl get these exact same ones. I immediately purchased the last pair on here and when I got the package it was super light! The shoes are extremely comfortable, light and they match with so much. I also love that it doesn't look like a huge shoe and just fits my foot really nicely. Im going to be trying these out tomorrow on an elevated hike and so far the grip looks great.
