Not what I hoped
Not that comfy feeling when I put my foot in for the first time. Wore them around the house, they felt clunky. Too tight towards the toe, returned them

Comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable shoes, bought them because they are waterproof.

Not water proof and very uncomfortable
Very stiff and uncomfortable (to the extent that they hurt) and not waterproof.

Poor quality compared to previous Montrail/Columbia hiking shoes
I have owned several Montrail/Columbia hiking shoes over decades of active hiking. The quality has decreased over time. This pair is falling apart after little over a year. The worst problem is that they were NEVER waterproof and I live in the soggy Pacific Northwest. Nonetheless, I just ordered another pair (different model) because they are always a good fit, which is the most important to me.

Loving this Shoe
My recent purchase was to replace my first pair of hiking shoes. I wore them for hiking and camping for approx 8 to 10 years. They are comfortable, stylish, and supporting. This shoe also has a wider toe box which helps alot especially hiking.

Awful Shoes - Not waterproof
I love Columbia shoes however I was extremely disappointed with the Redmond (supposedly waterproof shoe). I do a lot of hiking and after walking through wet grass, my shoes were so wet that the water seeped through to my to the point where my socks and feet were soaked.....It took days for the shoes to dry out at which point they also stunk. Do not buy this shoe as it is NOT WATERPROOF and it is a waste of money!

Fine
An okay shoe, comfortable, with good tread. Barely more waterproof than my tennis shoes unfortunately. Ok for light rain, but not for walking in wet grass or heavy rain, soaks through immediately.

Too small
I bought size 12 they are small. At first I was so excited to find a company that sells women’s size 12 but these actually are more like a size 11.

Great Walking Shoe
I’ve worn these while hiking and walking every day for a month and am so pleased with the comfort of these shoes. They are very light weight and required no breaking in. Would buy again.
