Size extremely small

Currently size 11.5 and I ordered size 12. My girl can hardly fit the feet completely into the shoes. The shoe tie is short that she can only fit in half of her feet in without forcefully widened the opening. We really wanted to love it, but the sizing is way off. First time purchasing from Columbia and I am very disappointed, especially all the store in our State is permanently closed and will need to pay for shipping to return.

Perfect

My 4yo daughter loves to hike and run but is very concerned with how her shoes and clothes look, so that's why we got these. It turns out that they are also an excellent hiking shoe. They have great traction, and they aren't so heavy and stiff that it causes her to be clumsy. Most kids hiking shoes are just mini adult shoes and are so stiff that the soles can't end under so little weight that they might a week be made of steel. These worked for her. We will be ordering the next couple of sizes up too.
