Great if sizing is correct!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the xs and s sizes in these shorts. I usually am a small, but reviews said to size down. Size down! I find that in bottoms and underwear I am a xs in exofficio gear, usually size 2. I can still wear the small, but the leg openings are a bit larger.

Nice shorts but run BIG
The shorts are well made with nice features but they run BIG! They do not line up with the size chart, and they fit differently than the Nomad. I am a size 12/14 in the Nomad shorts, but in these, the size large was HUGE (I ordered 2 pair) and unfortunately cannot return them. I should have ordered mediums. However, going by the size chart, It was recommended to buy a size XL. I got Larges thinking that would fit better, but I really should have ordered size Medium. However, I bought the Nomad shorts in the same order in a size 12 and they fit but are a bit snug so I could've gotten a size 14 for a better fit. Comparing the two, the sizing just doesn't match up. For reference, I have a 33-inch waist and 44" hips. my suggestion is SIZE DOWN so you don't get stuck with a product you cannot return. I also ordered these same exact shorts in a size XS for my daughter, and they also run big- they fit more like a ladies small in other brands.

FINALLY, THESE ARE THE ONES!
I have searched far and wide for shorts exactly like these. Mid-rise, stretchy, light, protective, and with a zippered pocket! I also wanted shorts that were not chino or Bermuda length and I finally found them. I’m 5’8” and length is always a concern but these are not too short and not too long-just right. Great colors, comfortable fit, and will be great for vacations from the beach to Disney! I bought 2 pairs in each color. 🙂
