Great minimalist fly box

Writing a review here to offset the 2 star as I don't think it is accurate. I have this fly box and really like it. The magnets rather than having any latches are very convenient. This is a slim fly box and I really like that. It fits in my small sling pack and my waders really well while I'm tying something new. I do skip rows just for easy access on some flies (the other review is correct in that you probably won't get 360 flies in there). That said, just get a bigger flybox if that's what you want as this is a much better space saving option.

Not a High Capacity Box

This is a very compact fly box, approximately the size and width of a smart phone. The Tacky silicone grips flies tenaciously--even small flies stay put. Like all Tacky boxes, this box displays flies nicely with each fly in its own "docking station" and abundant space between flies. Your flies can do yoga inside this box. The capacity, however is grossly overstated (360 flies!). Theoretically you could insert two flies facing each other in each docking station but this is only possible with very small flies-- size #20 or smaller. For nymphs in the size 14 to 18 range the capacity of this box is half of what is stated. That is certainly a reasonable number and if you want a compact box to carry a decent selection of nymphs to the stream this box can do that. But do not expect to fill the box to the stated capacity unless you stock the box exclusively with micro patterns.
