Why We Like The Grundens Gambler GORE-TEX Jacket
Designed with tournament anglers in mind, the Grundens Gambler GORE-TEX Jacket matches its feature set to many of the unique demands of boating and fishing. Its GORE-TEX membrane is waterproof, windproof, and breathable, of course, but the jacket also features GORE-TEX TOPO stretch panels for the freedom of movement we need for hook sets and casting—as well as paddling our fishing kayak or rowing a drift boat. The stow-away hood stays out of our way when the weather is fine and covers us quickly when the front rolls in. We especially like the neoprene wrist cuffs, which prevent water from running up our sleeves when reach into the lake to land a fish, dip our paddle too deep, or take care of our prop or transducer. It's not a gamble at all—the Gambler is the premium fishing shell we've always wanted.

Not just for bass fishermen.
Great jacket. Light enough weight and supple enough to wear push poling a boat on the flats all day but super dry and the great quality typical of Grundens.

This Jacket is excellent for many conditions. Could get tight if you have a lot of gear on under it.

Gambler Jacket
Love this jacket. The flex back really add to the functionality. I am 6'3" @ 225lbs and needed the XXL. Grundens products run a tad smaller.

Gambler Jacket
thing is bombproof and comfortable. Love the neoprene cuffs. chest handwarmer pockets would be a great addition. Also, the main pockets could be a touch bigger. 5’6” 145. small was perfect fit

Great warmth and mobility
Excellent product from Grundens. The neoprene cuffs are something I never realized how much I needed till I had them. Also the flexible gortex material on the back is awesome for working in. Whether in the yard, on the boats, rowing or staying mobile. Very comfortable and warm jacket. I’m impressed.

Took a Gamble on the Gambler
I've worn Grundens for many years working on fishing boats in AK and personal pleasure boats. After 20 years it was time for a new fishing rain jacket. When I saw the cuffs integrated into this jacket I decided to try it. Well made, functions as expected, and built to last a very long time! Essentially it fits great and if you have shorter arms the neoprene cuffs will keep them perfectly fitted and not allow any wind or water to travel up your arm. You won't get wet! Don't hesitate on the purchase it is a fantastic rain jacket for any outdoor activity. Thank you Grundens for keeping me dry for over 40 years on the water.
