Advice for Jump Ropers
The hype is real. The "walking on clouds" feeling on these is unmatched. However, I bought these mainly to protect my feet while jumping rope, since I tend to land harder on my dominant foot while skipping. The Bondis offer comfort and protection, but the cushion is so plush that it lacks responsiveness. I found myself having to "dig" into the soles to get my timing right. Also, since the boxer skip form is so compact, the wide soles on the Bondi would graze each other. So these were not ideal for my purposes. That said, if you're looking for a jump rope shoe with protective cushion AND responsiveness, consider the Cliftons. I ordered a pair, and they have been perfect.

Expensive but worth the money
I recently purchased the Hoka Bondi 8 in men's size 11, and I'm thoroughly impressed! Right out of the box, the comfort level of these shoes is outstanding. The Bondi 8 offers exceptional cushioning, which makes it feel like I'm walking on clouds, making them perfect for my daily jogs and long walks. The build quality is solid, providing great support and durability without compromising on style. What I appreciate most is how these shoes cater to my needs for both performance and comfort. They're light enough for running yet sturdy enough for all-day wear. The wider toe box is a notable feature that adds extra comfort, ensuring my toes are not cramped and can spread naturally. The aesthetics are sleek and modern, with a design that's versatile enough for both athletic activities and casual outings. I've received several compliments on how they look. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hoka Bondi 8 to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and stylish pair of running shoes. They have certainly exceeded my expectations and have made a significant positive impact on my running and daily comfort.

Worst money I've ever spent
I bought these shoes after reading review after review after review. I was looking for something I could wear for long hours standing and walking. I have now learned this is not the shoe for that. Not only do my feet hurt after wearing these shoes for a few hours, my feet have never hurt more in a shoe. The shoe has rubbed both of my inner arches raw and have produced blisters in the same place. What shoes causes blisters in this location? Further, the outer edge of each foot, for about two inches length (think opposite of the ball of your foot area), has the most intense and strangest pain o have ever felt while wearing a shoe. I almost think stilettos would be more comfortable at this point. The shoes are my correct size, including wide width (had shoes fitted in a store before purchasing online). Terrible overall experience, would give no stars (or even negative considering the price I paid for these) if that was an option.

Best shoes on the market!!
My son needed shoes like this for his job. He is on cement floors in a warehouse for 8-10 hours a day, Monday-Friday. Great support and cushioning on the heel.

Sizing issue
Ordered size 11 (shoe size for other shoes is 10 1/2). Too small and couldn't get it on. Returned and ordered 11 1/2. Still snug, but otherwise OK

love these shoes
As an old, fat (over 200 pounds) guy with replaced hips and knees, I can not recommend these shoes enough. They are wonderful. I walk between 7 and 10 miles every day and can do so without pain. I have not worn out an upper before the soles, which is not the norm for me. Usually my toe pokes out after a month. I will continue to buy these shoes as long as the quality remains the same.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased
The Bondi 8 shoes are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn in a long time. A little pricey, but well worth the cost. I don't plan on doing any running in these shoes, but only to roam around in. My brother enjoyed his Hoka shoes, so I thought I'd give them a try. Glad I did!
