Shoes couldn't be more awesome!
Purchased the shoes and have done multiple trail races in them and am currently training for a 50k with these shoes and they have held up all the way. The fit of them is exactly as stated I have them in 11.5 wide and they were exactly what I expected them to be. The cushion was perfect for running all different types of trails. I ran thru some cactus and they didn't puncture the sole or anything. I have just under 400 miles on mine and am finally retiring them. It's a sad day putting these to bed.

Walking on air.
I'm a big boy and not a runner, but these might be the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. Very light weight and ultra cushy - it's like I'm walking on air. I bought these at the recommendation of a family member and am glad I did.

Second pair of Challenger 7
My last pair was a different color and lasted me over a year now with almost daily wear. My only complaint is that it feels a lot more snug than my previous pair so sizing may have gotten tighter around the instep area.

Almost completely worth it!
I love my Hokas. They fit great and they function great for trail running. But so do a lot of other brands. My only problem with Hokas is they are too expensive. Not by a lot, but enough to feel like I could of gotten the same thing cheaper.

Not as good as the 6
I put almost 900 miles on my Challenger 6 shoes in 5 months last spring. My Challenger 7s have more wear on the soles after less than half the miles in the last 3 months. Same roads and trails. The 7 is also developing a tear on the inside of the heel for no obvious reason. I loved the 6s and was hoping for even better with these but they've disappointed.

Great shoes!
The Challenger 7s do not disappoint. I mostly use them for workouts, trail walking and light hiking. The tread on the Challengers is probably more aggressive than needed for walks on even terrain or the gym but I like a good all around shoe that can handle the trails too. The traction is exceptional on these shoes. I used them on a challenging, very steep, multi terrain trail in Hawaii with slick sections. These shoe bit in and I never slipped once.
