Why We Like The Kaha 2 Low GTX Hiking Shoe
Back again, the HOKA Kaha 2 Low GTX still brings comfort and support to a lower-profile shoe for hiking on any terrain. HOKA's trademark cushioned outsole protects joints as we cover ground, while the nubuck leather upper with GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry through shallow crossings and rain storms. The Kaha's EVA-cushioned construction allows us to more comfortably ascend the trail and more quickly descend back for a celebratory beverage.

great shoe
since the first walk, I felt very happy with my choice. my walk is a forward-looking experience. feels very supportive and plush. I hardly feel the ground. the added resistance to water is very useful and they look great.

Worst shoes ever!
HOKA, you are pushing your old customers away! The heels slip, the toe boxes are asymmetrical, the sizing is always different, the price keeps going up, the quality keeps going down, the quality control is a disaster, etc. I almost thought I bought fake shoes from the HOKA official site. I own 12 pairs of HOKA shoes, and I never had a pair like this one--- I can't find any advantage to it! Before you raise your price for more profit, why not upgrade the quality first? These shoes suck!

True comfort
Purchased the kana 2 tx Excellent experience walking on trail. Very stable, comfortable feel on uneven surfaces like gravel, and roots .i have both knees replaced over 10 years ago and am very sensitive to impact on my knees. With the Hokas I feel much more capable to walk and jog.

Overrated.
I have worn New Balance for years. Decided to try Hokas which were recommended by friends and family. Don't fit nearly as good as New Balance and paid over twice the price of New Balance. I'm one and done.

Disapointed
Had hoped to find a shoe with Gore Tex but less rugged looking than my pair of Anacapas and more suitable for everyday wear. It would be nice to be able to get something like the basic Bondi but with Gore Tex.

I would buy several colors, but runs too narrow. Need wider
When can we get the Kaha 2 low GTX in a wide width? Pleeeease.

NOT "Plush" cushion
Have purchased several Hoka shoes and really liked the "plush" cushion feel. However, these do NOT have that same cushioning and are very uncomfortable. In addition, these seem to force the knee and ankle to turn in, causing even more stress when hiking. Returning and won't buy these again.

Too small
Love the look of the shoe, but sizing is far too small. I could barely even get my foot inside it without undoing the laces completely. Felt very cramped.

Expected so much more
Avid wearer of Speedgoats I wanted to branch out. I'm training for a 30 mile hike/run and saw that these were maximum cushion and Goretex. While they kept my feet dry they felt like I was walking on pavement with little cushioning. As others mentioned the heel slip. I had to tie these soooo tight to keep my heel in the shoe.

Returned shoe
Own two earlier Kahas. Kaha 2 is bigger and clunkier than the originals and I think a little less plush. Great return service, though.Might try the new unisex Kaha. Looks more like the original.
