Soft tee

Tech lite tees are a winner
I bought three of these tees last year and was amazed at how much better I liked them. I was really pleased to get two more this year in colors I needed; dark navy and charcoal.

Great fit and feel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Merino Tech Lite shirt and won't be my last. Love the soft feel of the fabric--not scratchy-- and the fact that it isn't see-through. The sleeve cut makes for a comfortable fit. I usually wear a L but ordered an XL as I wanted more room for hot weather hiking and air movement. I think the L would have accomplished this as well but am happy with the sizing.

Exactly as promised
A good shirt, great for travel and looks nice. Size S was a little boxy and long for my size small 5’4 torso but I didn’t want it to cling. I wish there were more colour options!

A classic
This is a classic black tee shirt! It’s a perfect fit in that’s it’s fitted but not tooo fitted. I wear these all year around, they are an absolute staple.

Excellent all around tee
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Nice light weight which means it goes well in hot weather or as a first layer in colder. I wear this tee on regular days and in long distant hikes. Can't go wrong. Also has a nice womens cut so it's not boxy and means you can get a loose fit that still looks tailored.

New favourite shirt
I’m 5’2 115 lb and an wearing the xs Perfect comfortable fit - colour is beautiful milk chocolate. I can easily wear it a few days over and over because it’s 100% merino. Will buy another so I have a spare.

Great for Outdoors
I bought this t-shirt for hiking. It has a low crew neckline which keeps the sun off my chest but still looks feminine. The grey color doesn't show dirt, but isn't so dark that it attracts the heat from the sun. I'm 5'6" and 130 pounds, so I bought the size small and it fits perfectly, not too tight. The t-shirt is 100% merino, so it doesn't stink after a day or more of hiking.

Disappointed
I have been wearing IB for 10 years & I own many pieces from undergarments & base layers to shorts & dresses. I have loved IB & they have been my go-to brand, but I have not been loving IB the past 3 years. I DO NOT like the new styles & cuts. They are boxy, too long, the colours are either too plain or outrageously loud, & the artwork is terrible (ski artwork on a short sleeve t-shirt & a t-shirt reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock "The Birds"). What happened to elegant, stylish & pretty? What happened to timeless style? IB had a wonderful design team; what happened? Ultimately, out of desperation I ordered 2 new t-shirts, because mine were no longer mendable. I was disappointed; the new design of the Tech Lite is terrible. It is no longer a crew neck, but a low crew, which makes it less suitable as a go-to athletic piece that can be worn for outdoor adventures & for casual wear. IB, bring back the original Tech Lite & while you're at it, bring back the 100% merino scoop neck, short sleeve t-shirt.
