The cover is not waterproof and allows water to enter the unit from the top. This water travels down into the top of the hot tap and can cause rust issues down the road. The zipper is cheaply built and broke off within a week of using it. It is hard to pull the zipper around the corners. Joolca should be using YKK zippers which are very inexpensive. I had to attach a zip tie to the zipper metal and a backpack rain fly to cover the top of my hot tap during winter and rainy days so that water won't seep through the cover. Joolca remake the cover with a waterproof cover and YKK zippers.

I like that it protects the tank, but the zipper is a challenge after a few years. Especially when camping in the Keys and the salted air. Wouldn’t unzip and then it would close about 2-3” where the teeth wouldn’t come together.

Seems to be very good quality, only time will tell how it lasts in the weather and sun down here in South Carolina.

Only quality stuff from these guys. I will be buying many more items from them. If you like quality and don’t mind paying for it then this is then this is the place to go for high quality stuff. This cover is only one example. Love it!

The bag does a very good job. I have it mounted on the side of my Toyota Tacoma it goes through the sun, mud, rain, dust and snow and holds up very good. Keep up the good work.

The mount cover is just ok

The zipper should be positioned so that it doesn’t need to come all the way off. Also the zipper tab is weaker than the actual zipper and will fall off easily. That should be corrected with a normal closed loop pull tab.

Why is this not water proof?

I just don’t understand for the price why this cover does not keep the rain out. I guess if you are just trying to keep the dust out mostly this will work for you. Zipper is good but the material is so-so quality. More gimmick than utility with most of these products.

cheap zipper

The cover seemed well made. But after zipping and unzipping the cover maybe 6 times, the cheap plastic zipper failed.
