These gloves are perfect for all sorts of weather - anything below about 45f, including rain, all the way down to extreme cold (-25 windchill). I wanted a glove that offered a closer fit than a ski/snowboard glove, but still had solid warmth and waterproof capability. This glove is it. I wear them for everything from walking the dogs and scouting the property, to errands around the city and fun nights out. I bought these in black, but I'm grabbing a pair of the tan as I think they'll be great for some of the farm work I do. I would give these 5 stars, however the thumb of the glove is extremely long and that makes them a bit fumbly. The thumb is nearly as long as all the fingers (look at your hands and imagine if that were the case). I have an extra inch or so in the thumb space but other than that these gloves are truly perfection.
