Durand Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot
The Keen Durand Mid WP Men's Hiking Boot is a waterproof medium-weight hiker that's designed to offer out-of-the-box comfort for hiking and backpacking trips. It has plenty of cushioning to keep your feet comfortable on rocky trails and under loads, starting with a removable dual-density footbed, continuing to a PU midsole and heel cushion, and finishing off with an integrated PU stability shank. The waterproof nubuck leather and mesh upper is soft, comfortable, and, most importantly, outfitted with a Keen.Dry waterproof and breathable membrane to make rainy days and soggy trails nothing more than points of interest. Even the dual-compound rubber sole sticks to mud, roots, and rocks, so you never have to be discourage by rugged weather and wet ground.

Second Pair
These are great hiking boots. I wear them nearly everyday for work and home year round. When I got my first pair I knocked off 30 seconds from my morning 1/2 hour walk. This is my second pair of Durand boots.

Too soon to tell...but so far so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked these up to replace another pair of Keen boots that wore out. There was a slight break-in period but after a couple 3-4 mile hikes they're pretty comfortable. Traction in the snow or on wet surfaces isnt the greatest. Im hoping this may change as the soles get broken in a bit. Its only been 2 weeks with near daily wear so I'll update in the future.

Love them.
Love these boots. I’ve owned three pairs over the years and I am very happy. I wish all the Keen products had this quality.

Best Boot!
Most comfortable boot from Keen so far! They have become my everyday boot, great traction in snow, and mud. Waterproofing works well and they stand up to the test of field work!

Beat Boots EVER!
I have had 10 pairs of the Durand boot. They are the best boots I’ve ever owned. I do landscaping work and keep 2 pairs and rotate them every day at work. They are super comfortable and sturdy at the same time. Great looking boots too!

Comfortable. Tough. Supportive. Durable.
I sat down to write this review as I was slipping on my boots for some outdoor work. I realized I have had them for several years, and they are still a fantastic boot. I got them for moderate pack weight hiking and general work outdoors. I bought them specifically because they were made in the USA, but I LOVE them because they are comfortable, sturdy, and supportive without being stuffy. After several years of moderate use, they are functioning like new. No loose glue. No hardware malfunctions. Great sole support. They are well worth the money compared to competing boots.

Long break-in, run short

These boots hurt my heel for the longest time until they broke-in. It was a severe pain and it would happen on the shortest walks on any terrain. Once they broke in I felt like I could stand and walk in them for days comfortably. The only other issue is they seem to run a little short. Not enough to cause pain, but enough to be seriously annoying on mid to long days. They do have amazing traction, especially when the trail goes from dry and dusty to slick wet rock.

Not what they used to be…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots went from my favorite to total junk — seems too many sales ruin quality… Too bad.
