LIGHT & GRIPPY
The NXIS EVO is light weight with outstanding grip on all surfaces. I've been wearing KEEN shoes while conducting home inspections for years and these by far give me the best grip when climbing inside attics and on roofs. Good pick
This shoe has turned out very well. Could have gone 1/2 size down. But the fit otherwise is very good.

Fit isn't quite as described
This is actually a touch difficult to write as I have mixed feelings. The NXIS description explicitly says they fit like the Targhee II but they don't quite. They're snugger through the forward section of the shoe than the Targhee and the flex point is slightly different. The lighter construction makes them slightly more comfortable than my Targhee IIs in general but that flex point coupled with the tighter fit makes for a painful spot on one foot. Disappointing as I'd like something that fits like the Targhee but is lighter, like the NXIS, but those small differences are key. As for whether I'd recommend the shoe, probably? The problem is likely unique to my specific fit on that foot but I can't be certain.

Great Fit, Comfortable
I always wished that Keen made a running shoe. This is the closest thing to a Keen running shoe that I have found. I work in public safety, and wear these around the station, or at special events when I don’t need to wear my heavy duty boots. They look sharp, and are all day comfortable.

Super comfy and really are waterproof
Super comfy shoes. I’ve been wearing them for over a week and so far so good! Even wore them in the snow and stayed dry. Super excited to see how they perform in the long run!

Comfort all the way
