Speedster HD Fly Reel

Built in Idaho, the Lamson Speedster HD Reel is the smooth piece your rig is missing, even if you plan on fishing elsewhere. This reel is constructed with machined aluminum and stainless steel for excellent durability, and Lamson even gave it a Hard Alox coating for abrasion-resistance. Its giant arbor size means an excellent rate of line pickup—presumably part of how the Speedster got its name—and its sealed conical drag gives you solid stopping power against fighting fish. The full-cage design eliminates options for your line to escape through, so you can feed line smoothly in either direction.
