I score the product a 7 with 4 stars because the pant is constructed well. I wished there was a mention about the fitting in the specs. I'm usually a size medium and thought that a large would fit snug. However, it's super loose with the elastic band in the back. I love the polartec material against my body, which is why I bought this pant. It can be used as a base layer or around the town with a long tunic or parka.

Thick Fleece Tights for Cold Days

These tights are absolutely the warmest, most comfortable pair that I own! They are perfect for trail running in super cold temps. I wore them in 10 degrees and I was warm on my bottom half! The only downside is that they fit a bit big. I'm normally a size small, but they slide down a bit when I'm running.

Another great product with difficultly on fit

Super stoked about these tights but the waist was SOOOOO loose on them they weren't useable for jogging (they literally fell off, I tried to see if maybe they were just sagging a bit in the crotch but would stay on... nope, they were halfway down my booty!). I was able to sew a much tighter elastic band in them which essentially took out 3-4 inches of waist. I am NOT a small waisted woman either. The pants seem to fit well in the thighs but are really large in the waist. Other than the waist fit issue they are warm and cozy which is what I was looking for!

Warm Base layer for skiing

Very comfortable to wear. I'm not sure how it is going to hold up overtime as it does stretch out a lot. The fit a little on the larger side in the waist and butt area. There is an elastic at the back, however it is still slightly too large in the waist (My waist is 26"). Next time I would purchase an XXS

Size down for sure!

These leggings are super comfy and warm--I honestly forget I'm wearing them. I sometimes use them as an exterior layer when climbing, but will use as a mid-layer this winter for skiing. They lose points because after only one wash they are pilling already. Also, the waist is baggy. I'm a size 8 normally in outdoor brands, so I went with medium, but I definitely should have gone with small. For reference I wear large Mammut tops (but they are a bit roomy). I know these are designated "long," and that they certainly are. I'm 5'4" and have tons of extra fabric. Next time I would go with the 3/4 length; it would probably reach to my ankles. Some of that is just my inability to pick the right size, but the pilling is a universal issue.

Poor fit, legs not long enough so pull down, Medium waist more like a large or XL

These are advertised as long, but the inseam is only 28.5" out of the package. The legs are tight at the bottom, which makes the pants pull downward, and the seems hit right on the kneecap. The waist is very loose, more like a Lg. or XL hip and waist, so there is no chance they will stay up. I'm so disappointed, usually Mammut products are great and I was anticipating better design.

The pants are THE BEST

This is my 3rd pair of these pants--they're durable, but I've worn through two pairs. Because I basically wear them every day they're clean, all winter. Soft and comfortable, warm and awesome. I wear them to hike, bike, ski, etc.
