It is not as bulky as it looks like in the picture. It is really warm. I bought the yellow color ( cheetah ) and couldn’t be more happier as the color is nice. Material is excellent with a little stretch into it. Jacket is really well made.

On winter hikes I wear this with a fleece and base layer, I end up over heating and remove the fleece entirely. Super light weight, and a go to in my closet.

Really nice quality jacket. Fits slightly large. The hem is not cinch-able, but has an elastic band. I'm broad shouldered and narrow hipped, so this didn't work for me. But, for the right figure this would be an awesome jacket. (I'm an XL chest and M/L waist/hip)

I bought this jacket for my sister for Christmas, but I had my wife put it on and check it out beforehand. reference. Is a small and my wife is 5'2 135lbs for reference. The waist was a good fit, but the arms were to short. She would need this in a medium. My sister on the other hand walks around 7 miles a day in northern California even in the winter. She needs a warm jacket for this season and this will be perfect. The quality is obvious just holding it. Extremely light. Almost like you're wearing nothing. The cuffs hold the wrists snuggly to keep the wind out. She is going to love it, and I like the color to keep her visible to oncoming cars. Good buy.

Great fit and warmth

I love the quality of mammut. This jacket is warm and rain resistant enough for most PNW days. I like the length as it is longer than some of my other jackets.

feedback from girlfriend: I have never had Mammut products before, and after much research, I went with this jacket over down versions and other brands. I am so happy with it! I will be taking it on a Nepal trek in the fall and have been using it almost every day since I got it (which leaves me sweaty when it's 35 F). I am sold on Mammut products. I ordered the large for layering underneath, I am 5'5" and about 155 lbs for reference. Plenty of room for base layers and a mid-layer underneath.

This jacket is amazing. Right when i put it on I immediately felt the warmth is can retain. Its light weight and layers very well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the fit. I am 6ft tall I ordered a Xl to make sure that the arms and torso were long enough for me. I normally wear a size 8 in women. As the arms and length of the jacket are perfectly long enough, the rest of the jacket is a bit large around the chest and the abdomen area. But over all I am very pleased with this product.
