Why We Like The Mammut Ophir 3 Slide Harness
For increased comfort and mobility on long routes, we rack up the Mammut Ophir 3 Slide Harness. The two-part webbing construction reduces pressure points without adding extra padding to keep weight and bulk low and to boost airflow and flexibility, letting us move freely on the wall. Whether we're layering up for ice routes or down for desert sandstone, the quick-adjust buckles at the waist and legs give us a dialed in fit.

Ophir 3 slide
Not a bad harness, appears to be more breathable and comfortable than it is, unfortunately.

Really easy to tighten and loosen the straps, doesn't feel very heavy. Can get a little uncomfortable for hanging belays, but that's only for very long multi-pitch days.

The harness is comfortable and easily adjustable. The construction is solid and the gear loops are wide enough for numerous draws and gear. Overall, very happy with the harness.

Solid harness. Comfortable as far as harnesses go, and not terribly heavy. Four gear loops that keep their shape and adjustable leg loops (good for those with slightly larger/smaller legs than average). In typical Mammut fashion, the harness is Bluesign certified which can't be said for most harnesses.

Great durability and comfortable seating
I have been using this item for indoor and outdoor sport climbing for almost 2 years. The harness doesn't show any sign of wear even after regular use. The drop seat is very comfortable when you need to rest halfway up the climbs. My only complaint is that I wish the gear loops were slightly more forward so that I could have easy access to my racks.

Very comfortable harness
This is one of the most comfortable harnesses I've climbed in. It is really easy to adjust, packs down nicely and is very breathable on those long, hot days.

Quality climbing harness. The buckle system is so much easier to use than the competitors. Huge fan of Mammut products.

Comfortable, but maybe better for lefties
The belt on this harness cinches left to right, which puts the right side gear loops somewhat further back than the left side loops (with the hardpoints in front). As a righty, I like to keep my most-frequently used trad gear on the right, and this belt configuration doesn't jive perfectly with that. It'd be a great harness for non-trad-climbing righties, though - easy to adjust and padding in the right spots.

Went straight to the gym when i came in the mail and hit a wall to get it adjusted and love the fit. I have legs and a backside that looks like I never miss leg day and so some brands just don't open in the legs enough for a bottom heavy guy like me.
