Great find!

I was looking for a robust ski pant with a durable fabric to avoid cuts from wild ski shenanigans and wind resistant warmth for high alpine days without sacrificing maneuverability. These pants deliver! Super performance and super comfy too.

Great build quality

They have great quality and fit. They're excellent for skiing, snow boarding, and just being out in the snowy cold.

Recommend

From waterproof materials to strategic insulation, these pants offer top-notch protection against the elements. With features like reinforced knees and adjustable waistbands, they ensure durability and a customizable fit. Whether you're carving down slopes or hitting the terrain park, these pants provide the comfort and functionality needed to elevate your snowboarding experience to new heights. The pant design work well with a belt allowing it to slide through a long loop at the back the pant.

Warm and comfy

I've only used these one time so far. It I am very impressed with the pants. I'm 5'11", 190lbs and wear size 34 jeans and the 34 fit just right. It wasn't baggy or too tight. It was very warm and I didn't even notice any cold skiing for 6 hrs in 20 degrees. The pockets were big, the zippers were well made with a good seal that blocks any wind or cold from seeping in. The zippers on the sides worked well to vent heat out when I started to get too warm. Overall I love these pants and would suggest any looking for good ski pants to buy these.

Great insulated pants

I usually use a mammut shell while skiing but I've enjoyed these insulated pants for colder days. They allow me to stay out longer than I planned and the vents are decent. They've held up to the normal scrapes and such.

Goretex ski pants

I never knew how much I needed these until I bought them. I love skiing and tend to rip my pants on rocks or get drenched in snow. These pants kept me dry and haven't gotten a hole yet. They felt more durable than others I've owned in the past.

Good fit. Waterproof. Pockets were easy to access and well placed. Fit well over ski boots. Felt easy to move in and was not too bulky. The straps on the waist made a snug fit. Overall no complaints.

Did everything right and fit me great, has tighteners for waist and ankles. No surprise from Mammut, although it was a pretty penny to spend. Should last me forever...

The first time I skied in these it was raining all day but the pants kept my legs warm and dry. I've since used them numerous times down to -20c and they work like they should. Fit well over the boot, but the slimness around the thighs makes it more tricky than I'd like to access the upper pockets. It has a great lower thigh pocket though, which I use for quick access. If you like a baggier fit then size up a bit.

Perfect for the right situation

These pants had great reviews which led me to purchase them for winter adventures. I've worn these once for a ski day in the pacific northwest. Temperatures were in the low 30s, with snow flurries and a strong wind. Even in this, these pants kept me warm with just compression shorts underneath. The insulation certainly worked well and the pants additionally shed the snow and moisture as expected for a snow pant. I'm 5'9, 185lbs and wear a 32in pant normally. I got the 32in waist for these and they fit perfectly. They also have velcro on either hip which you can secure to make it a tighter fit too. My only knock, hence the title, is that I don't think these would work well as all day hiking pants due to the bulkiness. It's a tradeoff between insulation and pant thickness. These will keep you warm, but wouldn't want to engage in any physically strenuous activity as my mobility feels slightly impaired due to the bulk of the pant. Skiing or snowboarding? Must buy. Long distance hiking in winter? Buy a gortex shell pant and do layers instead
