Tight thighs

I am 5"0' and 105lbs. These pants are pretty tight in the thighs and are not comfortable with any knee bending. They are also a few inches too long. The fabric is light and I like the adjustable waist. Wish these fit better.

these pants fit "real" girls

Most of the convertible pants we found were cut super skinny, and super long. Our tween girl has an average height, muscular/athletic build, not waif-ish at all. These are more generous through the waist (which does adjust in) and butt/thighs, without the legs being miles too long. There is also a growth cuff which can be let out. So far, her two pair of pants (deemed necessary by her outdoor school) have lasted 1 1/2 school years. On one pair, she blew out a knee during a game of dodge-ball and one leg zipper was chewed by a naughty pet rabbit. So, at this point, we have two of the top halves and one set of zip-off legs. I think we might last out the rest of this school year!

Still great pants but material seems thinner

This is the second pair of these pants I bought for my daughter. Bought the first pair while on vacation a year and a half ago and she has worn them hiking, playing sports, etc. numerous times without so much as a snag or stain on them. This pair I bought about a month ago and she has worn them only twice. Having said that, I do feel like the material on the current pants is thinner and less substantial than the previous ones--will have to wait to see if they don't wear as well. My daughter (9) would live in these if possible.
