Best sandals ever
My husband hates every sandal known to man. Got him these and he won’t wear anything else. Like nothing else. Glad we live in SoCal where it’s summer most of the time or his toes wood freeze off.

Horrible geometry - hurts calves, knees, hip
I have been a long-time Merrell customer and over the years have used their snow boots, hiking boots (love the Moabs), clogs and casual shoes. Have never had any issues. However, these sandals were the exception. I just bought them a couple of weeks ago and after 2 days of wearing them around the house I had to put them away. They are soft and cushiony BUT the geometry and design of the footbed/sole really put a lot of pressure on my calves, knees and hips. This may just be unique to me, but I think its probably because the heel is more elevated than the forefoot which basically cants the foot forward. Again, this may just be an issue specific to me, but the discomfort was pretty severe, and my calves, knees and hip were definitely sore for a couple of days even after I stopped wearing them. Its too bad because i really liked the look and have always appreciated Merrell quality and comfort. Sadly, I dont think I can return or exchange them so will probably ending up trashing or donating them.

Great Sandals
I don't wear sandals/flip-flops much but in Texas it gets really hot so i thought I'd try these. They are light weight and adjustable and fit well.

Super comfy and cushiony in Jamaica!
We walk a lot when we vacation in Jamaica and my sandals were never comfy until now. I bought these Merrells just for my trip and they were perfectly comfy and very cushiony.

User unfriendly clasps
Shoes are prone to sliding off. Clasps are user unfriendly. I had to tighten one so tight to keep it from falling off that it hurt my foot. I did not feel safe driving with these shoes.

Walking on a cloud
We have tile floors in our home and it hurts the feet. These ultra raps are a dream. I wear them everyday, in fact I happen to own 2 pairs.
