Nearly perfect fleece with dumb pockets.

Super warm. Like uncomfortably warm on a 50F day. The neck fabric is doubled up, so it feels like wearing a fleece and a scrarf, so it get unusually warm for the thickness. It's still super breathable, so it would need a shell on a windy day. I hate pack ready pockets. I don't care if they are accesible with a pack on. That's what chest pockets and hip belt pockets are for. They make the pockets less comfotable to use. If it had normal pockets, it would be 5 stars for me.

My new favorite fleece

I got this to use as part of my "technical layering system", and it works great for that, but its also become my favorite daily fleece. It is considerably warmer than my other options of similar weight, to the point where it was to be below 10 for me to consider using it with my shell and base layer, but it is so nice to have when it gets super cold or to use without a shell when the skys are clear. Sizing on the torso is accurate, but the arms do fit pretty snug, which could be an issue depending on your base layer material - slides fine over some, but grabs on others

This fleece jacket is very warm and soft and comfortable. I have size small and I usually wear small, but this one runs a bit small, but the snug fit also contributes to the warming effect as less dead volume needs to be warmed up compared to many other jackets. Great color and look. Would definitely buy again.
