Why We Like The Bishop Pass GORE-TEX Sleeping Bag
We're adventurers and we're always on the go, so we need a bedroll that can keep up with us like Mountain Hardwear's Bishop Pass GORE-TEX Sleeping Bag does. Being built with a GORE-TEX Infinium Windstopper membrane gives it greater resistance to those places where the weather has a tendency to get wet and windy. And while the winds howl and the rain beats down on the tent, we know we'll stay cozy and sleeping right thanks to the fluffy 650-fill down and heat-trapping design.

Doubt Bishop Pass is as good as advertised
I don't think the bag is good to 15 degrees. at 32 degrees i had to zip everything tight to stay warm. At 15-20 degrees i think you would need to be fully dressed with wool or long johns to be warm

Solid bag - unsure yet if the Goretex is worth it
Solid sleeping bag. I was on the fence between this version, and the version without Goretex, and while I haven't had opportunity to test the moisture/wind resistance elements of the bag, I have been pleased with my choice. The bag is plenty warm, and the interior neck baffles are a nice touch that keep the lower torso warm even if your head is out and exposed. There is a pocket on the inside that is too small for phones, but for this type of bag, that isn't a chief design consideration for me. The Goretex version of this bag does not compress as much as the non Goretex version, and this bag is heavier, but there is an included compression sack that works well to compress it down and seems strong. The fabric on the inside of the bag is quite comfortable. I am 6'2" and the Long length felt just slightly long, but on the other hand, the regular would have likely felt too short. Overall, pretty pleased with the bag. I'll revisit the review when I've had a chance to use it in conditions where the Goretex would shine.

Works great for shoulder season hammock or tent camping. Blocked the wind very nice and was almost sweating on a very windy 38° night in my hammock.
