Why We Like The Crater Lake Hoodie
The high temperatures have never stopped us from getting out there, so why would the threat of UV rays? In the Crater Lake Hoodie, we have full protection from the sun so we can hike, climb, and explore without the worry of sunburn at the end of the day. The three-piece hood covers both the front and back of our neck, and thumbhole cuffs keep our sleeves securely in place so the lightweight, moisture-wicking fabric can repel solar rays while we play in the heat of summer.

Lightweight and packable.
Lightweight. Very packable. Stylish as heck in my opinion. Haven’t yet tested its UV protection - so I cannot speak to that.

This was the best of several sun hoodies I tried. Nice lightweight fabric and good hood coverage. One star off because the sleeves were a tad shorter than I'd ideally like to use the thumb holes.

Stretches Out and Doesn’t Recover with a Wash
I’ve had this hoody for almost four years, and it has stretched out so much in every direction that it isn’t practical to wear anymore. I mainly bought it for rock climbing, but the sleeves now extend past my wrists and the bottom interferes with clipping carabiners to my harness. It fit great for the first couple years!

Favorite Top
This remains one of my favorites. I use for running, as a base layer, and every day. Seems I always have it on. Add a shell, and a t-shirt, and it’s the foundation of a very simple wardrobe. It lasts about a year before I wear through the elbows.

Great shirt
Love this sun shirt. Not the most athletic but still fits nice and most importantly does a good job.

Perfect hiking hoody
I bought these about 2 year ago. I've worn them on several hiking trips and summits. These have become my favorite hiking shirts. The material is soft and comfortable. Its lightweight, yet durable. The hood fits very well, and keeps my neck from burning. I'm not a fan of thumb holes, in general. however, my biggest issue came from an attempt of Aconcagua... I prefer the lightest colors possible so as to not overheat, however that comes with a price. The shirt I wore out from Plaza de Mulas to the park entrance is permanently stained from Aconcagua dirt and such. Its been washed several times and still shows all the dirt.

Best fishing shirt
Favorite shirt for fishing. Comfortable, keeps the sun off, but doesn't get hot. Nice to just wear around too. Bummer that it keeps selling out :/

I just finished a full season in the Alps. I wore this hoody for rock and alpine climbs. I am normally S and this filled a little too small. That being said, after almost 100 days of abuse, the color (red) still looks like new and it still regulates the temperature well. Happy with the product!
