Kind of wimpy for a down coat!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Large
- Height:
- 5' 11"
- Weight:
- 169
I’m not particularly impressed with the thickness of this jacket and I almost returned it. It’s paper thin. I bought it at a meaningful discount so decided it wasn’t worth the hassle of returning but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Best down jacket!
I love this jacket! It’s light weight and packable, but still very warm. It’s also form fitting so I don’t look like a giant marshmallow like some down jackets make me look.

Lacks pockets
This is a great jacket.. but is lacking in pockets. There’s only two, nothing on the inside, nothing on the chest area. Otherwise, it’s a solid jacket. I’m skinny, it doesn’t really fit around my torso area that well. Hoping that they correct this on the next version or switching

Wore on Kilimanjaro
Works as expected. Warm, light. Enough said. Ascending Kili worked as expected. Minimalist

Warm Light and Cozy Packable Hoodie
One of my favorite hoodies for resting in between pickleball games to avoid cooling down. Also great packability.

Too boxy, returned
Too boxy in waist, good in shoulders. I’m 6’ 1”, 185. Medium too small large too wide.

Love my ghost jackets!
I love Mountain Hardwares ghost jackets. They are lightweight and super warm. They hardly weight anything and can stuff up into a small ball in my pack. I’m usually hiking in 0-30 degrees in this jacket and am very comfy. I own 3 of them. They’re good for any season.
