Expected a bit more actually

I was really hoping for more from this pack. The straps are very thick and don't allow enough free floating. When put on the straps they pull out and you are forced to use the sternum strap even for just walking around. The angle they are sewn are awkward for an outdoor pack and they aren't particular mobile or comfortable. The hip belt pockets are a bit bizarrely placed, in that you can't really see them when you are trying to put things in them and they should come out further on the belt. Anything in the hip belt pockets is on the curve of your waist/hip bones, so for example a phone will not rest easily in the pocket. The hidden mesh pocket seems like a great idea, but the mesh doesn't have enough elasticity to really hold a jacket well, never seen a mesh panel with such poor elastic recoil. I also was surprised that the back panel didn't have enough airflow. My back ended up with much more condensation and sweat then with other back packs. The structure and internal support is great, can comfortably hold a heavy load for a 25 liter back, but all in all this is not a particularly comfortable pack. I really wanted this to be my go to hiking/travel backpack had too many things that had poor design. I kind of expected your design engineers would have seen these basic flaws before it went to market. I had to return this pack. Many feature that look great and check the boxes, but the execution is not good.

Not worth the price of admission.
Cheap materials for a premium price. Not worth the price of admission for this one. Can't adjust the torso, and couldn't find any other reasons or special features that warrant the price for a basic pack.

Excellent Multipurpose Oversized Backpack
I just purchased this bag for a two week trip to Japan. I wanted something I could pack a lot into, easily access/ access things quickly, and be able to fit on the bullet trains. Just tested it out on a weekend trip out of town on a Southwest flight. I'm also an avid hiking so I liked the multipurpose potential. I'm a 5'7 woman and got unisex cuz I like the color. Definitely fits larger than a regular day pack or school backpack. Shoulder straps are very soft and well padded. I was debating on sizing up for the 35L but it definitely wouldn't have fit under the seat on the plane so I'm glad I listened to my partner and got the 25L. Love the top compartment for wallet/phone/earbuds. Easy to pull up from under the seat and get stuff out of the top. I love that it stands up on its own without falling over. The mesh addition on the front is a great feature. I was able to stuff a Teva camper shoe in each side. Overall I'm super satisfied with this and looking forward to using it more!

Versatile bag for plane travel or backpacking
Really well thought out bag, great for traveling - can be used as your personal item on flights under the seat and I used it for hiking the Camino and it was the perfect size. The optional outside extension is a game changer - making it really flexible in size.

New favorite daypack for climbing or hiking
A solid backpack with a big pocket w/big opening, and a great area to strap the helmet to the outside.

Exactly what I was looking for! Light, lots of space inside and plenty of exterior carrying capabilities as well!

Impressive Attention to detail
This is the ultimate day pack. The fabric is tough but feels great, the shape and feel of the straps and back is excellent. The little loops for the compression straps are very creative. They allow the ends of the straps to sit against the pack instead of flailing around. The side pockets are both big enough to fit 1L Nalgene bottles in them and I have been able to strap skis to the sides of the pack as well. You can they really applied themselves with this one but yet I’m not overwhelmed with many little features. Great job guys!

Looking for a new day pack or ultralight thru hike pack? John Muir himself (RIP) would agree this is the one. THE JMT 25L.
Field tested this on an off-trail summit. This pack has just what you need for a lightweight trek that could turn into an adventure. The top load lid makes getting in and out a zip. Internal frame. Stash able mesh net that has numerous options for items. The Cordura material this pack was birthed from is tough and withstood going through thorn patches and granite pinch points while traversing. After one outing with the Mountain Hardwear JMT 25L it's my new day or ultralight thru hike backpack. About a 20in torso for sizing inquires
