Love my mystery ranch bags
Bought this as a laptop backpack. I already have a MR laptop briefcase bag. Love that I can fully open the front to access items. Comfy. Great storage. Only complaint is that it doesn’t stand on its own but that’s minor. I’ve loved all of my mystery ranch packs. Been buying them since my first Dana designs backpacking pack in 1997!

90% Phenomenal pack!
I love this pack! It has great internal organization and I find the external front pocket super functional - I use it to put my forager hip pack when I'm not using it. The only miss on this pack - are the water bottle pockets. Please make those taller / better. No matter what water bottle I use, the water bottle pocket always falls out.

Dad day bag
Received this last Xmas and took it on a trip to Disney with three kids. Held a 40 oz bottle in the inside gusset pocket with room for two smaller water bottles in the outside pockets. Snacks in the front pocket and plenty of room in the main compartment for 5 ponchos and extra clothes for the kids. Comfy all day long for two days at the park. Worked great as a personal item on the flight with easy access in top pocket for battery bank, ear buds, phone, wallet and keys. Plan to use it for many more adventures with the kids in the future.

So Close to Greatness
I've basically lived out of this bag for about a year now. It is very nicely constructed, comfortable, and (mostly) well thought-out. The good: suspension and padding is lightyears ahead of most book bags like you might get from TNF, Jansport, etc. It isn't as good as other MR packs that have adjustable yokes and suffers a bit if you load it heavily (like more than 25lbs). However, 95% of the time I'm carrying less than that and it is quite comfortable. Style is good, and I love the tan/gray/orange colorway, especially the orange interior. The main compartment organization is great. Basically it's like having an accordion folder inside to keep your books/folders organized, which is a genius idea and unlike anything I've seen in any other pack. The laptop sleeve is great and holds my 15" laptop securely. The two sleeve pockets towards the front of the main compartment hold my mouse and power cord/brick for the laptop and a pencil case, respectively. I use the little tablet sleeve for my mousepad. The not-so-good: the front admin panel seems like an afterthought. I do like that it's a top-to-bottom sleeve, which leaves plenty of room to shove a beanie and gloves, or a compactly-rolled rain jacket. I don't mind the velcro closure at the top of this, although I wish it was something else, perhaps magnets or even another zipper. The right-side vertical zipper on is a good idea and helps you get to things at the bottom, but it really should have one on the left side too. There's also not much to the pockets in here for holding small items, just a small pen holder on the top left, and a similar one on the bottom right. If there were vertical zippers for the admin panel on both sides and if it was velcro or PALS lined so you could put better organizers in here, the pack would be perfect. Despite these complaints, I still think it is the best EDC/school/book bag I've owned.

Perfect for carry on.
Bought as a supplement to my carry on suitcase for a 7 day trip with multiple flights and hotel changes. The size was perfect for traveling and fits well underneath the airline seats. The only thing I would change would be to make one of the inner pocket sleeves with a zipper or velcro closure.

Smart Design!
I bought this backpack a month ago for business travel. Main pocket is large enough for a change of clothes and my laptop. the outer pocket has plenty of internal pockets for a mouse, business cards, pens, etc. I bought the Hummus color and it's a little darker then the online picture, which is awesome!

Quality. Every part of this bag feels well made and thought about. The zippers, the compartments, the functionality are all purposeful and useful.

Built tough, tons of space!
Best backpack I’ve ever owned. Sleek look, but is built to endure in any condition. Tons of space and compartments I didn’t think I needed, until I did. The orange interior and contrast is perfect for easily locating headphones and miscellaneous supplies. Tons of space to comfortably store folders, uniforms and even a lunch. 10/10 would recommend!

My Review for District 24
This is my second MR product, the first product is Urban Assault. This product is for my new 16" laptop, on the user experience it can fulfill my requirement. but 1. The space for laptop does not complete fit my laptop, I think it only consider 16:9 laptop. If the laptop space can be adjustable would be good. 2. Whether add more pocket of front department? 3. Could add some mechanism for strip "storage"? 4. Key bag zip is one way, it is not convenient when I want open backpack when it hold on my right hand. It would be good for both side use if the zip can open on both side. and whether it can add anti-thief loop? District 24 is one of my laptop backpack that have good UX, and it would be the best experience if they have more features above mention.

What's the distance from the attachment point of the shoulder strap to the highest option for the sternum strap? My wife has an older UA 18 and a newer UA 26 & the sternum strap on the latter is hard to adjust so that it's above, not on, her bust.
