Best Trail Shoes

Familiarity:: I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:: Men's 10

I have been wearing WildHorse 7 which I loved until I tried these. I have a narrow heel, wide forefoot, low volume (bony) foot. I wear men's for the extra width. I'm the type of running who likes to feel the ground without feeling it (meaning don't like the barefoot shoes). I prefer a good balance between cushion and responsiveness. These are perfect (except for the tongue needs to be longer). Other than that, it has great cushion (more than the Wildhorse), large lugs, great lockdown, and responsiveness is killer. Although it weighs around 10oz, you don't even notice it. Tried it out in the gym while sprinting then did a 5 mile trail run that had varied conditions (rocky, flat, hilly, etc). Had no issues with slippage or traction. These are amazing and can't wait to buy another pair.
