Great Material but Challenging Fit

NRS Hydroskin is great material that is surprisingly warm for its thickness - feels more like 1.5-2.0mm rather than 0.5mm. I really wanted these shorts to work to replace some others that were not working as well as I would have liked. However, even through it has a waist tie, NRS makes these with a zero-stretch thread in the waste band. I am 5-7", 145lb with an athletic build and I had trouble getting a size large on and the thread is so small that it feels sharp on your hands when you are trying to make it work. Once on, it was clear that a medium would be better in the water but I gave up as I doubt I would be worth the hassle of trying to get into it. It would be great if NRS had a more elastic waist like most wetsuit shorts.
