Why We Like The On Running Cloudmonster Shoe
The Cloudmonster Shoe is one of On Running's most colossally cushioned shoes yet. They took their CloudTec sole and vastly increased the size of its cloud squares while also stuffing the midsole full of Helion foam to push the pillow meter off the charts. But with such severe proportions of comfortable cushioning comes the need for enhanced propulsion, so On designed it with a heavily rockered forefoot that works in unison with the Speedboard insert to push us forward on every stride.

Excellent cushion

Just before I bought this shoe, I had plantar fasciitis, and was looking at a shoe that would have a lot of cushion. I tried the shoe at a store and decided to buy it and take it on the trip. To my surprise, my pain disappeared. I walked for miles, and had no issues at all. The only issue was walking through Dusty Rhodes. All the little orifices on the sides of the shoe were covered in Dust and got cleaned only after I washed the shoe. I usually wear a size 6, but was advised to buy a 6.5 and this worked very well.

This is my third pair of Monsters so I know how they should fit and the front of this shoe is too wide, cavernous. They must be unisex not women’s.

This shoe has been a life saver for my on the go self. I travel and walk so much and this shoe was the best. I loved it so much that I had to order the other color as well. Really recommend it.
