Squeaky shoe & terrible customer service

This shoe squeaks to the point that it is unwearable. While I assume that it is a defect specific to this shoe, I cannot say for sure because the Backcountry process is such that after over a month of communicating the issue, there has been no response other than “don’t contact us until we contact you.” Backcountry once had excellent customer service, but after this experience, I willl not shop here again.
