Made with Euro-nymphing in mind, the Orvis Hydros II Euro Reel prevents light lines from slipping between the spool and frame with its full cage and tighter tolerances. This reel is slightly heavier than other Hydros reels to balance longer Euro-nymphing rods and features a bombproof, fully sealed Hydros drag system with zero startup inertia and smooth braking to prevent our light tippets from breaking when a fish takes off or catches the current.
