most comfy sun shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this purchase. Light, breathable fabric that feels like a treat to wear. Most of my sunshirts fit close to the skin which is fine much of the time - but while hiking during mosquito season that is not so great. This being a looser fit on my arms solved that problem. Not sure I like the big pleat in the back, but I think the newer version addresses that. Will buy more of these!

Light Weight Sun Shirt that also helps keep bugs off!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wore this on a camping/fishing trip for 5 days and it did an excellent job protecting me but also being light a breathable. I like wearing it over another layer to keep the bugs away!! It didn't smell bad after 5 days of straight use which is another plus!

Amazing fabric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new shirt. The fabric is so soft, light and breathable - and it's UPF- what a treat! According to other reviews it was blousy, so I ordered a medium, rather than my usual large and the fit is great.

This Hiking Shirt Needs at Least one Chest Pocket

I was excited about this sun shirt for summer hiking in Alaska and bought two of them. Unfortunately the shirts really need at least one chest pocket akin to the Ex-Officio 'fishing' shirts. The one zippered pocket is on the right hip, and doesn't hold a map and barely would hold some bug spray,

My new go to for the sun !

I had no idea what this shirt would be like ... it's light , stretchy , and perfect for the heat. Super comfortable so I bought the other two colors!

Shirts that breathe

I don't use sunscreen so I really like a long sleeve button down shirt that allows for flowthrough ventilation on those hot days. I used this shirt at the Grand Canyon and it was perfect for the cold morning, the light drizzle and the heat of an totally exposed climb. It was perfect. I didn't expect it to wrinkle coming out of the dryer as badly as it did but I just spritzed it with water while it was on the hanger and it looked good as new after about 30 minutes.

The fit for the long sleeve version does not make sense

The short sleeve version of this shirt is great, but for some reason, the long sleeve version has a terrible fit. The back of the shirt does not lay flat, but instead narrows down towards the bottom so that it wraps around your bottom in the most bizarre way. I don't know if my shirt is defective or if this is an example of designers not knowing how to make clothes for larger people (I ordered a size L, the rest of the shirt is a just little big for me but still fits), but it's unwearable. And I can't even tuck it in to hide it because the V design of the upper back sticks out at odd angles when tucked. It's especially disappointing because otherwise it seems like a well made top. I have to return it.

Great Shirt, with one itty bitty issue

I love this shirt, with one tiny little issue. The pocket is located on the bottom on the shirt, right where my hip belt on my backpack rides. Makes it very uncomfortable and rather inconvenient to actually use the pocket while backpacking. The men's version my husband has is what prompted me to get one of these, I was disappointed to see where the pocket was when I got mine, as on his, it is a breast pocket, like normal. Other than that, love the shirt. I just don't use the pocket.

Lightweight for hot weather

My only complaint is the design in the back. It kind of feels like a maternity shirt. The bonus to that is that it is super airy. I would probably buy the men's version though. Also wish it came in solid colors
