HighCamp 3-Finger Glove

Outdoor Research's HighCamp 3-Finger Glove is a multipurpose glove for winter mountain adventures. Newly redesigned with Vertical X insulation to provide additional warmth retention, the HighCamp 3-Finger Glove holds warmth on windy, stormy days in white out conditions. The Ventia insert within the glove is waterproof so snow doesn't soak through the glove, and a touchscreen-compatible, removable liner adds a layer of protection and warmth so you can still check your smartphone on the chair lift without freezing your hands.

Excellent

Very well made and it is generously sized, which is just what I wanted.

Pretty good but room for improvement

These are pretty nice gloves. The liner is very nice and the exterior is well made. My index finger and thumb do get cold but not any worse than other gloves or mittens. However there is a design problem with the wrist leash. The Velcro that holds the liner in place tends to grab the leash so that when you pull off your gloves (for example while on the chairlift to check your phone) the wrist leash comes off with the glove. So no protection from loosing your glove. Fortunately I discovered this problem before dropping my gloves from the chairlift and I'll work around it in the future.

Very Happy

I've been looking for wind/rain proof gloves of enough warmth that I can bike in Oklahoma in the winter. Windchills well below zero and all of my fingers are still here

Solid, well made gloves

I have used these in the mid 20 degrees without the liner and was plenty warm. Good dexterity without the liner but with it may not be as good. The liner is a thicker liner which most likely would be warm to single digits at least (maybe negative temps as well) but I always carry a cheap thin liner as well in case it is too warm. I have not had these very long but they look durable. I do not buy gloves without the wrist leash anymore so it is a must.

Please bring back the highcamp mitt

Far and away the best, warmest mitten I've ever owned, and my husband agrees. We would buy again & again.

Quality mountain gloves

I got these gloves for climbing in the white mountains and they are warm. Even without the liners, my hands were toasty. Plus, they stayed dry, despite shoving my hands in the snow all day.

Warm & Functional

We love the Alti mitts but these are right there with them due to excellent functionality. I love having use of the 1 finger without sacrificing any warmth. If I use the liners I don't mind that taking the gloves on and off means that the liners come out every time, since if I'm wearing liners it's nice having them of when I take the mitt off.

Great gloves - warm, good dexterity

Winter cycling, my fingers become numb with cycling specific winter gloves. Rode today in < 30F, windy conditions and my hands were fine. Good dexterity, able to shift Di2 without a problem. Works for me, maybe for you too. I wear a 7.5 surgical glove, the large fits me well. May not be able to accommodate an additional liner but possibly could put in a warmer/thicker liner if needed.

Perfect for very cold weather running

I used these for a 2.5 hour run at -30 Celsius and they are exactly what I was looking for. I don't like to wear mitts particularly when using running poles and I found these worked very well for me. The glove liner worked well when using my phone or accessing zippered pockets while running and I found it easy to put the outer glove back on while running.

Yes

These were delivered remarkably quickly. I work in the ski industry. I have to be on the mountain regardless of the weather. I've spent a small fortune, over the years, looking for a glove/mitten that would keep my hands warm. I worn these glove for the first time this morning. It was 6⁰ F. My hands stayed warm all day. I'm very impressed, so far. Let's see how they hold up with daily use....
