I have run with this low-profile hat in warm weather a few times and found it to be both good sun protection and extremely breathable. The large mesh lets in plenty of air and the supple bill soaks up a lot of sweat. Note that the bill really doesn't have any structure so it will likely start to shape itself however it wants after some use and washing. But, that said, it is really easy to throw in a bag and pack because there's no structure to it.

All around winner!

My new favourite hat! Running, hiking, climbing. Packs down small and doesn't have a bean on top (more comfortable under a helmet).

Best ultralight cap

Your new favorite summer hat! I'd love to purchase an undyed version with a dark green under brim in the future. This crushable crushes it! It's great for sailing, fishing, tennis and hiking, oh and running and cycling breaks too (after helmet head). My dog walks and trail runs feel much better; swift'er. Midwest summers are no joke and this cap does the trick in keeping you cool with its ventilating materials and sun protecting bill.

Great pattern and awesome fit

Lightweight and Breathes

My go to for a trail hat on hot sunny days! Easy to change the size, great colors and easy to pack down in a small pack! Would recommend!

Great for running and biking

Good hat, bad colors

Functionally great. Cool, protects from sun, keeps shape after squishing and stowing. Why does it have to be clown colors only? Make a black one.

Last Running Hat You'll Need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wicked light, wicked fast drying, wicked sick look. Love the fit, doesn't make my head look weird, and is very comfortable to wear, even when it gets hot and sweaty up there. This hat has the benefits of a trucker style hat (mesh back) without looking like a trucker hat (personally I look terrible in those). Loved it so much that when I lost it I immediately ordered another. Really is just a solid hat.
